HOW does the Apprenticeship work?
· You receive 1-2-1 Coaching (via teams) with a Dedicated Skills Coach who will support you with your working skills and behaviours such as communication and problem solving.
o They support you with active learning and reviews monthly and support with off the job training.
· You have 6 hours a week set aside to spend on apprenticeship work, including:
o (assignments, independent study, training & development activities)
o These hours are agreed with your manager, either split across the week, or on a set day.
· The Level 2 AAT also includes a Mandatory Qualification ‘Certificate in Accounting.’ This is delivered and studied on a modular basis; this means that you will study one module of the curriculum at a time, so the qualification is broken down.
o Once you complete each module (this typically takes 1-2 months, but you can determine your own pace) you sit an exam (online) to ensure you have understood.
o Exams include: Introduction to Bookkeeping, Principles of Bookkeeping Controls, Principles of Costing, and The Business Environment.
· You manage your own study time, and how you study each module. We provide you with a wide range of tools and resources to support your learning. These include:
· 1-2-1 Sessions with a Dedicated AAT Tutor who will go through the curriculum with you (CT Skills)
· Group Webinars (CT Skills)
· Interactive online Enhanced Classrooms with BPP which you use for your independent learning (Self-study system)
· With CT Skills, you’ll get lots of 1-2-1 support from application until the completion of your apprenticeship!

DAY to DAY, you will….
· Reconcile Bank.
· Carry out credit control (post extensive training).
· Bookkeeping for CGL and clients.
· Assist CEO with ad-hoc tasks.
· Assist in resolving customers’ queries with regards to invoice/payment related matters.
WHAT Skills do I NEED?
Apprenticeships are very demanding; you’re working towards a qualification whilst working full time! You’ll need to be committed and motivated as there is lots of self-guided work involved. PLUS, you need GOOD …..
