WHO are Flip Air Adventure Park?

Flip Air Adventure Park is an exciting new family entertainment venue featuring trampolines, soft play, inflatables, football activities, go-karts, and more. They are looking for enthusiastic, friendly, and reliable Front-of-House Team Members to help deliver an outstanding experience for all guests.

WHAT will I get from working with Flip Air Adventure Park?

  • EARN: £8 per hour, 30 hours per week
  • EXPERIENCE- your hours: 5 days per week, shifts between 9am and 7pm (including weekends)

 Please note that these hours are just estimates for now, as they are not currently open for business, and the hours may fluctuate depending on how Flip Air Ltd is running.

  • QUALIFICATION: Customer Service Practitioner Level 2 takes approximately 16 months.

WHAT will my DAY look like?

As a Front of House Apprentice, you will be one of the first points of contact for customers, ensuring every guest receives a warm welcome and excellent service throughout their visit. This is a fast-paced and varied role that requires a positive attitude, strong customer service skills, and the ability to work as part of a team. Your daily tasks will include:

  • Greeting and assisting customers upon arrival.
  • Providing excellent customer service at all times.
  • Taking food and drink orders & checking customers in.
  • Waiting tables and clearing tables.
  • Operating the till and handling payments.
  • Maintaining cleanliness throughout customer areas.
  • Assisting with party bookings and special events.
  • Monitoring customer flow and helping ensure the venue operates efficiently.
  • Following all health and safety procedures.
  • Supporting colleagues and management when required.
  • Minimum of 6 hours per week spent on apprenticeship work and training.

HOW does the Apprenticeship work?

Working towards your Customer Service Practitioner Level 2 Qualification, you’ll attend monthly 1-2-1 meetings (online via teams every month – NO classroom OR college!) with your tutor and learn about modules including knowing your customers, understanding the organisation, meeting regulations & legislation, systems & resources, and the customer experience. You will be given a minimum of 3 hours per week to complete any apprenticeship work (assignments, research, and projects) and will receive at least another 3 hours of training from your employer. All apprenticeship work and training is completed in the workplace, during working hours.

WHAT skills/qualifications do I NEED?

  • Minimum GRADE 4/C in GCSE (or equivalent) Maths & English.
  • UK Residency – must have lived in the UK for at least 3 years.
  • Friendly, approachable, and confident personality.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a busy environment.
  • Reliable and punctual.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

WHAT will my DAY look like?

You will play an important role in supporting the day-to-day financial and administrative operations of the school, including processing payments, maintaining accurate records, assisting with financial reporting, and providing excellent customer service to parents, students, and staff. Your daily tasks will include:

  • Managing daily operations of the school shop.
  • Reconciling shop sales and preparing financial reports.

HOW does the Apprenticeship work?

You’ll work towards the AAT Level 2 Certificate in Accounting through monthly 1-to-1 online sessions (via MS Teams – so NO classroom OR college).

Your AAT Tutor will support you with the study and completion of the Mandatory Qualification ‘Certificate in Accounting.’ This contains 4 modules that will each take approximately 2 months each to complete. You will sit a mandatory online exam after completing each module that you must pass in order to gain your AAT Level 2 Qualification. Modules include Introduction to Bookkeeping, Principles of Bookkeeping controls, Principles of Costing and The Business Environment.

Your Skills Coach will help to develop your working skills such as communication and problem solving along with active learning and study of topics including Ethical Standards, Accounting Systems & Processes and work with your AAT Tutor to support your work towards the ‘Certificate in Accounting.’

You will be given a minimum of 6 hours per week to complete any apprenticeship work (assignments, research, projects and revision) all completed in the workplace, during working hours.

WHAT skills/qualifications do I NEED?

  • 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) grades A*–C, including English and Maths.
  • UK Residency – must have lived in the UK for at least 3 years
  • An organised, reliable, and detail-oriented individual with a genuine interest in finance and administration.
  • A team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills who can interact professionally with parents, students, and colleagues.
  • Good IT skills, including confidence using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • The ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.

WHAT will my DAY look like?

This apprenticeship role provides an excellent opportunity to develop a career in internal sales, customer service and commercial administration within a growing technical business.

You will support the UK Sales Team by handling customer enquiries, preparing quotations, managing orders and maintaining CRM records. Alongside day-to-day responsibilities, you will complete a structured apprenticeship programme combining practical workplace learning with formal training. Your daily tasks will include:

  • Handling incoming customer calls and emails professionally and confidently.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with mechanical and electrical contractors and building merchants.
