Principles of Dementia Care (Level 3)
Our Level 3 Certificate in Understanding the principles of dementia care will provide you with knowledge and understanding of dementia and dementia care. Currently in the UK, around 850,000 individuals are living with dementia and unfortunately this number is projected to increase. You will learn an understanding of dementia, various types of dementia, importance of early diagnosis, use of medication and the approaches in dementia care and support, including communication, interaction, and support.

You do not hold a level 3 (or higher) qualification in any subject, or, if you do hold a qualification of at least level 3, you must be either unemployed or in employment but earning below the low wage threshold of £20,319.
