Customer Service Apprentice @ Skinova Aesthetics

Location: 227 Aldborough Road South, Ilford, IG3 8HZ

WHO are Skinova Aesthetics?

Skinova Aesthetics combines expertise and innovation to deliver safe, effective, and confidence-boosting aesthetic treatments.

They believe that confidence begins with healthy, radiant skin. Every client is treated with care, respect, and attention to detail. They don’t just focus on improving appearance, they focus on empowering confidence and promoting long term skin health.

WHAT will I get from working with Skinova Aesthetics?

  • EARN: £8 per hour, 40 hours per week
  • EXPERIENCE- your hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm (1-hour unpaid break)
  • QUALIFICATION: Customer Service Practitioner Level 2 takes approximately 16 months.
  • BENEFITS: Comprehensive training on aesthetic courses, CPD certificate & opportunities for internal career progression.

WHAT will my DAY look like?

You will be managing the front-of-house operations at this aesthetics clinic which involves interacting with clients, managing bookings, and ensuring a professional and welcoming environment. Your daily tasks will include:

  • Greeting and welcoming clients professionally.
  • Managing reception and clinic opening procedures.
  • Handling appointment bookings and scheduling.
  • Responding to client enquiries (in-person, phone, online).
  • Maintaining client records and booking systems.
  • Providing basic advice on aesthetic treatments (training provided).
  • Ensuring reception area is clean and organised.
  • Minimum of 6 hours per week spent on apprenticeship work and training.

HOW does the Apprenticeship work?

Working towards your Customer Service Practitioner Level 2 Qualification, you’ll attend monthly 1-2-1 meetings (online via teams every month – NO classroom OR college!) with your tutor and learn about modules including knowing your customers, understanding the organisation, meeting regulations & legislation, systems & resources, and the customer experience. You will be given a minimum of 3 hours per week to complete any apprenticeship work (assignments, research, and projects) and will receive at least another 3 hours of training from your employer. All apprenticeship work and training is completed in the workplace, during working hours.

WHAT skills/qualifications do I NEED?

  • Minimum GRADE 4/C in GCSE (or equivalent) Maths & English
  • UK Residency – must have lived in the UK for at least 3 years
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Professional appearance and attitude
  • Basic IT skills
  • Interest in aesthetics/beauty industry
  • Ability to work independently

What happens next?

If your application is successful, you will receive a call from our dedicated Recruitment Consultant who will discuss the qualification, location and course length in more detail. Following this call, you will be asked to write a supporting statement and complete an English and Maths assessment.
