WHAT will I get from working with Bristol Property Partnership?

  • EARN: £16,500 per year, 37.5 hours per week
  • EXPERIENCE- your hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm
  • QUALIFICATION: Housing & Property Management Level 3 takes approximately 18 months.

WHAT will my DAY look like?

Bristol Property Partnership are looking for a motivated, energetic apprentice property manager to join their small friendly team. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn all there is to know about property management and lettings whilst gaining a professional qualification in the housing and property sector at the same time. Your daily tasks will include:

  • Undertaking regular inspections of your properties to ensure they meet all legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Liaising with tenants and landlords regarding maintenance work needed, or that you recommend, to keep your properties secure, warm and a great place to live for your tenants.
  • Working alongside the sales and lettings team to ensure properties and rooms are re-let quickly for your landlords.
  • Completing check outs when tenants leave and releasing deposits.
  • Checking in new tenants and reviewing ongoing rents.
  • Keeping all information up to date on property management systems and ensuring tenants and landlords are responded to promptly and actions needed logged and completed.
  • Minimum of 6 hours per week spent on apprenticeship work and training.

HOW does the Apprenticeship Work?

Working towards your Housing & Property Management Level 3 Qualification, you’ll attend monthly 1-2-1 meetings (online via teams every month – NO classroom OR college!) with your tutor and learn about modules including decision making & collaborative working, housing legislation, tenancy types, and more!  You will be given a minimum of 3 hours per week to complete any apprenticeship work (assignments, research, and projects) and will receive at least another 3 hours of training from your employer. All apprenticeship work and training is completed in the workplace, during working hours.

WHAT skills/qualifications do I NEED?

  • Minimum GRADE 4/C in GCSE (or equivalent) Maths & English
  • UK Residency – must have lived in the UK for at least 3 years
  • Must have full driving licence & your own car.
  • Great communication, problem solving & negotiation skills.
  • Organisation & attention to detail.
  • Thrives on providing great customer service
