Technical Specialist in Neuroscience in Early Years

Our technical specialist online course will support you in understanding neuroscience in early years. You will gain an undertaking of exploration of brain development from birth to seven years olds with a particular focus on self-regulation with how to nurture this in children and the factors that can affect development. During the online course you will learn about the three types of stress and about adverse childhood experiences.

The course is a knowledge and skills-based qualification. You will need to be working or on a practical placement to show competence in both knowledge and skills. It is recommended that you complete 30 placement hours while undertaking the course.

You can get a qualification accredited by NCFE CACHE, (equivalent to GCSE-level qualifications) in as little as up to 10 weeks for free!

By committing 5-10 hours per week, you’ll boost your CV and increase your chances of finding job opportunities or an apprenticeship.

Level 2 courses typically lasting up to 10 weeks and Level 3 courses between 12 to 15 weeks.
