WHAT will my DAY look like?
You will be joining the Cashiers team that sits within the wider Finance department and consists of one Accounts Payable and Cashiers Manager, two Senior Cashiers, one Cashier and one Junior Cashier. The Cashier team deal with client and office money and work collaboratively to ensure all the various cashiering tasks are completed. All tasks must be carried out within the scope of the Solicitors Accounts Rules. Your daily tasks will include:
HOW does the Apprenticeship work?
Working towards your Level 2 AAT Qualification you’ll attend monthly online 1-2-1 meetings (online via teams every month – NO classroom OR college!) with your Tutor to learn Modules including general business, understanding your organisation, accounting systems & processes, basic accounting & ethical standards. You will be given a minimum of 3 hours per week to complete any apprenticeship work (assignments, research, and projects) and will receive at least another 3 hours of training from your employer. All apprenticeship work and training is completed in the workplace, during working hours.
The Level 2 AAT includes a Mandatory Qualification ‘Certificate in Accounting’ made up of 4 modules/exams including Introduction to Bookkeeping, Principles of Bookkeeping Controls & Principles of Costing.
