This is a fantastic opportunity for someone early in their career or looking to retrain, combining full-time employment with structured training and a nationally recognised Level 3 Payroll Administrator Apprenticeship.

WHAT will my DAY look like?
As an Apprentice Payroll Administrator, you will predominately support the Payroll and HR functions in delivering accurate and timely weekly payroll, alongside providing essential administrative and employee support. You will gain hands-on experience in payroll processing, HR administration, reporting, and responding to employee queries, while developing your technical and professional skills.
You will be working within a team of 2, directly supporting an established and supportive manager, with over 15 years’ experience. Camfaud already supports a number of apprentices, so you are joining a structured, supportive team with an established peer group.
HOW does the Apprenticeship work?
Working towards your Payroll Admin Level 3 Qualification, you’ll attend monthly 1-2-1 meetings (online via teams every month – NO classroom OR college!) with your tutor and learn about key areas such as statutory entitlements and deductions, payroll legislation and regulation, handling queries and complaints, and managing new starters and leavers. You will be given a minimum of 3 hours per week to complete any apprenticeship work (assignments, research, and projects) and will receive at least another 3 hours of training from your employer. All apprenticeship work and training is completed in the workplace, during working hours.

The Role
Working closely with employers and apprentices, you will deliver and support Accountancy and Payroll apprenticeship programmes up to Level 3.
You will use your coaching and training skills to guide apprentices through their learning journey, developing their knowledge, skills, and behaviours. Deliver engaging one to one and group sessions, monitor apprentice progress and provide tailored support to ensure successful outcomes, and build strong, professional relationships with apprentices and employers.
About You
If you’re considering a move into training, we’ll provide full support to help you transition confidently into the role. If you already deliver AAT or Payroll training, you’ll find a supportive, forward thinking environment where your expertise is valued.
You will:
• be AAT Level 3 qualified
• have solid, hands on experience in accountancy and/or payroll

• be organised, proactive, and confident managing your own caseload
• enjoy coaching, mentoring, and helping others achieve their potential
Previous training or assessing experience is beneficial but not essential, your industry knowledge and passion for developing others are what matter most.
