Overview

Apprentices will develop advanced skills and behaviours aligned with the Level 4 Senior Housing and Property Management Apprenticeship. The role typically involves overseeing housing operations, managing teams, and ensuring compliance with legislation and regulation. Apprentices may also lead on business planning, financial oversight, and customer engagement—preparing them for senior roles such as Property Manager, Leasehold Manager, Supported Housing, or Neighbourhood Housing Manager.

Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH)
  • Membership Level: Certified Practitioner
  • Requirements: Apprentices must provide their apprenticeship certificate as part of the application.
Association of Residential Letting Agents (ARLA)
  • Membership Level: Member
  • Requirements: Applicants must be currently working in the sector, submit their apprenticeship certificate, complete a declaration form, and meet ARLA’s professional and academic criteria.
Institute of Residential Property Management (IRPM)
  • Membership Level: Associate
  • Requirements: Apprentices must present their apprenticeship certificate and demonstrate that their training aligns with IRPM’s Level 3 syllabus. If the training does not meet IRPM standards, applicants will need to complete an online training course.

WHAT will I get from working with Centrick?

  • EARN: £13,741 per year, 35 hours per week
  • EXPERIENCE- your hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.
  • QUALIFICATION: Housing & Property Management Level 3 takes approximately 18 months.

WHAT will my DAY look like?

Centrick are looking for a well-presented professional who is confident with an enthusiastic approach to work to join their Property Coordinator team.

Within this team, your role will mainly be focused on block management services for apartment blocks and freehold estates Nationwide. You will take responsibility for your own portfolio of developments, building strong rapport with residents and clients – this will include face to face, telephone and email communications. Your daily tasks will include:

  • Providing exceptional customer service either face to face, over the phone or via email
  • Updating internal databases & systems with a commitment to attention to detail & managing customer requests that are received via Dwellant
  • Building internal & external relationships & communicating on a variety of levels
  • Responding to incoming calls & emails quickly, and ensuring regular feedback of outstanding issues is provided
  • Ensuring the managed properties are well maintained & any repairs or issues are dealt with promptly and efficiently
  • Managing the shared inboxes on a day-to-day basis.
  • Managing returned post
  • Assist with the general running of the department
  • Minimum of 6 hours per week spent on apprenticeship work and training.

HOW does the Apprenticeship Work?

Working towards your Housing & Property Management Level 3 Qualification, you’ll attend monthly 1-2-1 meetings (online via teams every month – NO classroom OR college!) with your tutor and learn about modules including decision making & collaborative working, housing legislation, tenancy types, and more!  You will be given a minimum of 3 hours per week to complete any apprenticeship work (assignments, research, and projects) and will receive at least another 3 hours of training from your employer. All apprenticeship work and training is completed in the workplace, during working hours.

WHAT skills/qualifications do I NEED?

  • Minimum GRADE 4/C in GCSE (or equivalent) Maths & English
  • UK Residency – must have lived in the UK for at least 3 years
  • Confident communication, team working & customer care.
  • Attention to detail, initiative, eager to learn & punctual.
  • IT & admin skills.
  • Organisation, prioritisation & adaptability.
