WHAT will I get from working with Black & Golds Estate Agents?

• EARN: £17,500 per year, 40 hours per week
• EXPERIENCE- your hours: Monday to Saturday (hours to be confirmed)
• QUALIFICATION: Housing & Property Management Level 3 takes approximately 18 months.

WHAT will my DAY look like?

You will be assisting in the daily operations of the residential rental properties utilising strong organisational skills and a customer-focused attitude, ensuring that all landlords and tenants receive exceptional service. This role requires a blend of administrative expertise, effective communication, and the ability to manage various tasks efficiently. Your daily tasks will include:

• Managing tenant relations, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Conducting property inspections to ensure maintenance standards are met.
• Overseeing the leasing process, including upselling available units and arranging viewings.
• Maintaining accurate records through data entry and utilising property management software such as Reapit.
• Coordinating with contractors for repairs and upkeep of properties.
• Having an understanding of the client accounting process.
• Handling administrative tasks including lease agreements, renewals, and tenant communications.
• Implementing marketing strategies to attract new tenants and retain current ones.
• Minimum of 6 hours per week spent on apprenticeship work and training.

HOW does the Apprenticeship Work?

Working towards your Housing & Property Management Level 3 Qualification, you’ll attend monthly 1-2-1 meetings (online via teams every month – NO classroom OR college!) with your tutor and learn about modules including decision making & collaborative working, housing legislation, tenancy types, and more!  You will be given a minimum of 3 hours per week to complete any apprenticeship work (assignments, research, and projects) and will receive at least another 3 hours of training from your employer. All apprenticeship work and training is completed in the workplace, during working hours.

WHAT skills/qualifications do I NEED?

• Minimum GRADE 4/C in GCSE (or equivalent) Maths & English
• UK Residency – must have lived in the UK for at least 3 years
• Driving license & own transport is required as you will be travelling to properties.
• Strong communication & customer service skills.
• IT, admin & organisation skills.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving with a keen attention to detail
