Overview

This apprenticeship is suitable for anyone in a business administration capacity, working independently or as part of a team. Apprentices will develop key skills and behaviours to support progression towards management. They will support and engage with different parts of the organisation, interact with both internal and external customers, and contribute to a business project and resolving issues across teams — making them key contributors to organisational success.

  • EARN: £24,500 per year, 35 hours per week.

WHAT will my DAY look like?

Eversheds has a collaborative, friendly, and professional culture where teamwork is highly valued. You will be supporting the wider team with administrative and business support tasks, ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day operations and contributing to excellent client service delivery. Your daily tasks will include:

  • Assisting with file management, including opening and closing files, maintaining accurate records, and supporting with archiving and deeds management.
  • Preparing and formatting documents, bundles and client materials to a high standard.
  • Using systems such as iManage to organise and upload documents, ensuring everything is stored correctly and easy to access.
  • Liaising with internal teams such as Finance, Reprographics and Facilities to support day-to-day requests.
  • Carrying out general administrative tasks such as printing, scanning and photocopying.
  • Supporting with travel arrangements, including researching options for flights, trains and accommodation.
  • Assisting with the organisation of meetings and events, including booking rooms and preparing materials.
  • Maintaining and updating client information within internal systems.
  • Providing ad hoc support across the team and building strong working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Minimum of 6 hours per week spent on apprenticeship work and training.

HOW does the Apprenticeship work?

Working towards your Business Admin Level 3 Qualification, you’ll attend monthly 1-2-1 meetings (online via teams every month – NO classroom OR college!) with your tutor and learn about modules including the organisation, stakeholders, relevant regulation, business fundamentals, processes & external factors. You will be given a minimum of 3 hours per week to complete any apprenticeship work (assignments, research, and projects) and will receive at least another 3 hours of training from your employer. All apprenticeship work and training is completed in the workplace, during working hours.

WHAT skills/qualifications do I NEED?

  • Minimum GRADE 4/C in GCSE (or equivalent) Maths & English
  • UK Residency – must have lived in the UK for at least 3 years
  • Communication, team working & customer care
  • Analytical, logical & attention to detail
  • IT, admin, organisation & problem-solving skills
  • Initiative, non-judgemental & patience

WHAT will I get from working with IC Blue?

  • EARN: £8 per hour, 38 hours per week
  • EXPERIENCE- your hours: Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm.
  • QUALIFICATION: Business Admin Level 3 takes approximately 18 months.

WHAT will my DAY look like?

You will be joining a company that has a good track record of apprentice support into full employment. They have a very supportive environment where you can learn new skills and be exposed to all areas of the business. This means that you will develop an understanding of what each department does and how everyone works together. Your daily tasks will include:

  • Support the sales team with back up administration roles to enable revenue creation.
  • Work with established systems to ensure the correct data is collected and applied to enable sales.
  • Support salesperson with admin tasks.
  • Send updates to customers on orders.
  • Providing bank details on request.
  • Send a priced-out quote when the pricing level is agreed with salesperson.
  • Processing quotes and orders when salesperson is on business trips.
  • Minimum of 6 hours per week spent on apprenticeship work and training.

HOW does the Apprenticeship work?
