Marketing and Admin Apprentice @ Hatchers Solicitors

WHAT will I get from working with Hatchers Solicitors?

• EARN: £8 per hour, 37 hours per week
• EXPERIENCE- your hours: Monday to Thursday 9am to 5.30pm, Friday 9am to 5pm)
• QUALIFICATION: Multi-Channel Marketer Level 3 takes approximately 19 months.

TELL me about the Role:

This is an excellent opportunity to begin a career in marketing while gaining practical experience in a professional services environment. As part of the wider practice support team, you’ll work directly alongside the Operations Director, Office Manager, Compliance Manager, IT Administrator, and 2 front of house/admin assistants; as well as the additional support of a team of marketing reps from each of the legal service teams who meet quarterly to discuss marketing and business development.

You’ll be based within lovely old (but modern inside) building in the town centre, right by the river, supported by an equally lovely and collaborative team.

WHAT will my DAY look like?

Working with colleagues across the firm, you will help create engaging content, support campaigns and events, maintain the website and social media presence, monitor results and provide day-to-day administrative support. You will receive structured training, regular supervision and time to complete your apprenticeship learning. Your daily tasks will include:

• Creating and adapting content for social media, email, web, print and other marketing channels.
• Scheduling posts and helping to maintain the firm’s content calendar.
• Updating website content and supporting search engine optimisation activity.
• Assist with campaigns, events, community initiatives and promotional materials
• Researching audiences, competitors and marketing opportunities.
• Monitoring engagement and campaign performance, maintaining accurate records and reports.
• Providing administrative support, including preparing documents, managing enquiries and coordinating diaries or meetings.
• Minimum of 6 hours per week spent on apprenticeship work and training.

HOW does the Apprenticeship work?

Working towards your Multi-Channel Marketer Level 3 Qualification, you’ll attend monthly 1-2-1 meetings (online via teams every month – NO classroom OR college!) with your tutor and learn about the modules including marketing methods, principles & practices, business organisation & copywriting, campaign implementation & management, IT & digital tools, and more! You will be given a minimum of 3 hours per week to complete any apprenticeship work (assignments, research, and projects) and will receive at least another 3 hours of training from your employer. All apprenticeship work and training is completed in the workplace, during working hours.

WHAT skills/qualifications do I NEED?

• Minimum GRADE 4/C in GCSE (or equivalent) Maths & English
• UK Residency – must have lived in the UK for at least 3 years
• Communication & team working.
• Creativity, enthusiasm & proactivity.
• Attention to detail, organisation & IT skills.
