WHO are Camfaud Concrete Pumps?
Camfaud Concrete Pumps Ltd is the UK’s leading concrete pump hire company with over 300 staff across nationwide depots. As part of our ongoing investment in talent and operational excellence, we are looking for an enthusiastic Apprentice Payroll & HR Administrator to join our growing team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone early in their career or looking to retrain, combining full-time employment with structured training and a nationally recognised Level 3 Payroll Administrator Apprenticeship.
WHAT will I get from working with Camfaud Concrete Pumps?
WHAT will my DAY look like?
As an Apprentice Payroll Administrator, you will predominately support the Payroll and HR functions in delivering accurate and timely weekly payroll, alongside providing essential administrative and employee support. You will gain hands-on experience in payroll processing, HR administration, reporting, and responding to employee queries, while developing your technical and professional skills.
You will be working within a team of 2, directly supporting an established and supportive manager, with over 15 years’ experience. Camfaud already supports a number of apprentices, so you are joining a structured, supportive team with an established peer group.
HOW does the Apprenticeship work?
Working towards your Payroll Admin Level 3 Qualification, you’ll attend monthly 1-2-1 meetings (online via teams every month – NO classroom OR college!) with your tutor and learn about key areas such as statutory entitlements and deductions, payroll legislation and regulation, handling queries and complaints, and managing new starters and leavers. You will be given a minimum of 3 hours per week to complete any apprenticeship work (assignments, research, and projects) and will receive at least another 3 hours of training from your employer. All apprenticeship work and training is completed in the workplace, during working hours.
