£6.40 per hour (37.5 hours)

WHAT are the HOURS?

7.45am to 4.15pm and 10am to 6.30pm (shifts alternate weekly)

What Qualification will I GAIN?

Customer Service Specialist Level 3

How LONG will it TAKE me?

14 months

HOW does the Apprenticeship work?

  • WORK Full Time, PAID Full Time
  • 1-2-1 Monthly Sessions (via Teams) with your dedicated Tutor to study certain topics- NO college!

o   The organisation

o   Role fundamentals

o   Customer Management

o   Customer experience

  •  6 hours a week Apprenticeship Study Time, to focus on:

o   Assignments, training & development activities

o   Hours are agreed with your manager, either split across the week, or on a set day

  •  Regular PROGRESS Reviews with your Tutor & Manager – you will ALWAYS know how you are doing
  •  Final Assessment(s) inc. multiple choice tests, projects & presentations –  with full support from CT Skills!

Our NHS GP Practice aims to provide the highest quality of medical care possible to the Liverpool community. Our team is led by GPs with experienced clinicians such as Advanced Nurse Prescribers, Physician associates, Clinical Pharmacists, and technicians. We are a training practice and have doctors in training for the specialty of Family Medicine.

DAY to DAY, you will….

  • Answer the telephone.
  • Make outbound calls to book patient appointments.
  • Deal with queries and ordering prescriptions
  • Make appointments for the patients using care navigation techniques to sign post to the appropriate service.
  • Admin/ filing/ coding hospital letters.

WHAT Skills do I NEED?

Apprenticeships are very demanding; you’re working towards a qualification whilst working full time! You’ll need to be committed and motivated as there is lots of self-guided work involved. PLUS, you need GOOD ….

  • Communication, team working & customer care.
  • Analytical, IT, organisation, problem solving & presentation skills
  •  Logical, attention to detail & initiative.
  • Creativity, non-judgemental & patience.
  • Administrative & numeracy.

ANYTHING ELSE?

  • GCSE or equivalent English and Maths grade 4/C or above
  • UK Residency (MUST have lived in the UK for 3 years+)

What AFTER the Apprenticeship?
