So, what will your day to day look like?

You will be assisting the Finance Assistant & Director and supporting with day-to-day finance tasks. Working towards your Level 2 AAT Qualification you’ll attend monthly online 1-2-1 meetings with your Tutor to learn Modules including general business, understanding your organisation, accounting systems & processes, basic accounting & ethical standards. You’ll have a dedicated day a week to complete apprenticeship work, i.e. assignments, research, revision, exams, plus all the training required to do your job!

Daily tasks include:

  • Processing Orders
  • Receiving Deliveries
  • Processing Invoices
  • Setting up payments on the MIS System (Arbor)
  • Learning processes to aid with the financial month end

What skills/qualifications or personalities would be suited to this role?

  • You must have a minimum of English/Maths GCSE 4/C to apply for this role and you must have lived in the UK for a minimum of 3 years
  • Communication, team working & customer care.
  • Analytical, IT, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Logical, attention to detail, creativity & initiative.
