Early Years Practitioner with Wyndham Park Day Nursery
- Salary: £6.40 per hour, 37 hours per week
- Hours: Monday to Friday shifts between 7:30 am – 6:00 pm (on a rota)
- Location: Wyndham Park Nursery School, Hill Ave, Grantham, NG31 9BB
- You will be working towards Early Years Practitioner Level 2 which will take approximately 16 months.

So, what will your day to day look like?
- Planning and delivering activities with children 2-4 years of age.
- Get creative in helping children to achieve their developmental steps
- Assist with breakfast/lunchtime/after school clubs
- Help with assessments and inputting of data
- Changing children as required and after training
- Administer basic first aid after training
- Assist in planning and creating inspiring learning environments
- Prepare simple and healthy snacks
- Develop over time into a key person role
- Work inside and outside
- Set up and tidy areas and resources
- Contribute to planning and assessment
- Any other duties which are relevant to the smooth running of the nursery as directed by the Head Teacher or members of staff Lead activities and stories.
What skills/qualifications or personalities would be suited to this role?
- You must have a minimum of English/Maths GCSE 4/C to apply for this role and you must have lived in the UK for a minimum of 3 years
- Suitable for school leavers who may have carried out babysitting duties or work experience in a nursery setting

- Ability to work within a team and on your own initiative
