£23,000 to £28,000 dependent on qualifications, skills, and experience
Due to our continued growth, we have an exciting opportunity for experienced individuals to join our team of tutors delivering Sector-based Work Academy Programmes (SWAP’s).
These roles are full time and largely remote but could include some travel. A driving licence and access to a car is therefore essential.
You will be working with learners distanced from employment, delivering high quality teaching, and learning through a mixture of group and one-to-one sessions. Utilising e-learning platforms and resources you will support and develop learners to achieve qualifications in subjects such as employment skills, customer service, administration, social care, and construction. You will be responsible for effectively managing and progressing learners with varying levels of ability to complete their programmes and ultimately secure employment.
We really value your industry knowledge, competence, and experience, so although holding a relevant teaching qualification (Cert Ed or equivalent) would be great, full training and support will be provided if you have a real passion for sharing your knowledge, learning, and developing others.
You will be an effective communicator, able to provide the highest standards of customer service to successfully engage learners. An excellent planner, you will be able to manage your time effectively as well as conflicting priorities. You will have the ability to coach, develop and mentor people with the ability to manage difficult situations calmly. Proven experience of delivering training, managing groups of learners, would be a distinct advantage.
