Salary Range: £15,000 to £16,000
Reporting to: Human Resources Manager

About The Employer:

Technolog Group has over 40 years’ experience in the water and gas industry.  We design and manufacture battery powered data loggers and electronic pressure controllers for distribution networks. Also, intrinsically safe products for use in explosive atmospheres.

About the Team:

The successful candidate will be joining a team of 2 (HR Assistant and HR Manager) managing just under 400 employees.

About the Role:

A Human Resources Support apprentice will be responsible for managing day-to-day HR queries and support the HR department with people processes such as recruitment, data management and employee relations. To support our growing, fast paced, challenging, and rewarding environment, we are looking to recruit a self-motivated, enthusiastic and hard- working individual who can contribute to our HR team.

And Day to Day? …. You will be Responsible for:

  • Assist with full recruitment process.
  • Managing the new starter introduction in a timely manner.
  • Assist with systems integration including employee records and master spreadsheets.
  • Provide a high quality confidential and comprehensive administrative service.
  • Maintain confidential filing systems to ensure effective access to relevant information.
  • Undertaking general administrative duties such as writing letters, responding to employee reference requests.
  • Respond to basic HR queries on a day-today basis.
  • Undertake ad-hoc projects as and when required.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
  • Prioritise their own word load to meet deadlines.

About what about YOU?… You will need to HAVE:

  • GCSE – English and Maths (Grade 4 or C or above).

And BE:

  • Open to learn new skills
  • Excellent communication and written skills
  • Good computer literate knowledge (MS Word; MS Excel; MS Outlook and MS PowerPoint)
  • Ability to deal with individuals at all levels
  • Quick learner and able to use own initiative

Minimum Qualifications Required:

  • GCSE – English and Maths (Grade C or above)
