Vacancy Description:

ABB Furse is looking to recruit a hardworking and ambitious individual to efficiently administer export sales orders, queries and complaints to ensure high level of customer service and satisfaction

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • To offer excellent customer service
  • To administer all export orders in an efficient, acceptable manner in line with the procedure in place
  • To develop good working relations with the customers, their agent, Spatial and other departments to ensure all the customers’ requirements are met
  • To ensure all terms and conditions on the order are examined and either accepted or rejected and the customer advised accordingly
  • To produce the correct documentation to meet both the customers and legal requirements
  • To ensure the computer invoice complies with the quotation, order and the export invoice sent to the customer
  • To handle any customer complaints in accordance with procedures in place
  • Provide support and liaise with the external sales team as and when needed
  • To offer assistance to other members of the export team
  • To ensure level of work is up to the standard required
  • Other duties may have to be undertaken which will be determined by the Company, taking in to account the current level of responsibilities, experience and capabilities

Skills Required:

  • Operational commercial skills which are customer focused
  • Good keyboard skills
  • Thorough knowledge of payment and export terminology
  • Customer knowledge
  • Knowledge of the requirement of BS EN ISO9001:2000
  • Awareness of influences internal and external which may affect the business
  • Good communication skills
  • To be able to work effectively under pressure

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

A*-D  Maths and English at GCSE desirable but not essential

Training and Qualifications Delivered:

Level 2 or 3 Business Administration

Level 2 Functional Skills Maths (If required)

Level 2 Functional Skills English (If required)

Level 1 Functional Skills ICT (if required)

Working Week and Salary:

Monday - Friday

Total hours per week: 37.5

Wage per hour: £5.68
