Working Hours:     9am – 5pm

Weekly Hours:     35 hours (excluding 1 hour lunch break)

Hourly Rate:     £5.00 per hour

Reporting to:     Business Development Manager

Insight Consultancy are a small but busy full service digital marketing agency, based in the heart of Leicester. With 10 years’ worth of knowledge, experience and passion in helping businesses innovate and grow, Insight Consultancy is  trusted to advise and partners to a range of businesses across a variety of sectors, local and national, big and small.

Insight’s core services include branding, design, social media, web development, user experience and marketing.

Every project is spearheaded by Insight’s leadership team, who has an eye on everything that goes on. Due to continued growth, Insight is now looking for a new member of the web team; you’ll be joining an existing core team of 6 (everyone is selected for their passion, expertise and perspective, so they’re quite a mixed bunch!) supported by  additional part-timers and interns. If successful, you would work directly with one other member of the web department.

This is the perfect role for someone who would like to make their mark on a small, but rapidly growing business.

About the Role:

You will be working within the digital marketing department to manage the online presence and produce social media content for a variety of clients. This content might come in many forms, from written work like social media captions, blog writing or newsletters, to visual content such as infographics, graphical campaigns or banners. This role would also have a focus on the visual side, so great design skills will be an advantage.

And Day to Day?

  • Using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop to create graphics and edit photos
  • Social media management using platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn
  • Content creation and ideation
  • Application of typography for good readability

About you?

  • An eye for layout and composition
  • Great organisation skills
  • Great written English

You’ll need to have/be:

  • Awareness of the important of a consistent brand message and tone of voice
  • Awareness of digital marketing tools such as Mailchimp, AdWords, Google Analytics
  • A creative energy leading to original and exciting ideas

Qualifications:

  • GCSE – English and Maths (Grade C or above)
