About Employer:

We are a constituent practice of Erewash Health Partnership. Our current patient list size is circa 13,000. We operate across 3 sites, our main site is in Long Eaton and our branch surgeries are situated in Sawley and Toton.​ We have an experienced and friendly team of 33 staff consisting of GP's, Advance Nurse Practitioners, Nurses, Health Care Assistants, Administrators, Care Navigators and Medical secretaries. We are training practice who support and educate doctors to complete General Practice Specialty Training.

Vacancy Description:

We are currently seeking a dedicated individual to take on the position of an Administrator, completing either a level 2 or level 3 business administration apprenticeship. You will be responsible for supporting the management functional within a busy local GP Practice.. Working between two sites based in Long Eaton.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Supporting on reception during busier periods and covering annual leave and sickness
  • Interaction with patients on a daily basis
  • General office duties, Including filing, accurate record keeping, scanning
  • Exposure to financial side of the business – inputting invoices onto the finance system
  • Arranging meetings
  • Attending meetings
  • Stocking clinical rooms and supporting with deliveries and stock control
  • Maintaining confidentially at all times
  • Supporting  the branch surgery – Sawley medical centre

Desired Qualifications:

Ideally A* - C in Maths and English or equivalent

Some form of work experience in an office is desirable but not essential

Training and  Qualifications Required:

Level 2 or 3 Business Administration Standard

Level 1 or 2 Functional Skills English (If required)

Level 1 or 2 Functions Skills Maths (If required)

Level 1 or 2 Functional Skills ICT (If required)

Working Week and Salary:

Monday - Friday, flexible hours between 8am - 6pm

Working hours are to be agreed between the above and core hours will be set

Total hours per week: 37

Wage per hour - £3.90

Weekly wage - £144.30
