Overview and Objectives:

The Client Accounts team are responsible for all financial transactions relating to all Lettings activity across the Centrick Group, interacting with tenants, landlords and suppliers. They also act as a safety net for all financial movement for Lettings, including bank reconciliation, ARLA audit, arrears chasing and fee collection. The team manage client reporting of a diverse portfolio of properties and clients, consisting of individual landlords and Asset investors with 100+ units.

Overall Role Responsibility:

The Client Accounts Apprentice will be expected to meet set KPIs and strict deadlines on a daily and weekly basis for a plethora of team tasks. They will be responsible for client contact by both phone and email, responding to first line queries and providing excellent customer service to landlords, tenants and suppliers. They will be dealing with incoming and outgoing financial transactions, credit control and administrative tasks, such as onboarding and off boarding sites for the Asset Management portfolios.

This role is a great first step towards a career in all of these specialisms; Client Accounting, Asset Management, Client Reporting or even Property Management.

And DAY to DAY?….. You’ll be responsible for:

  • Maintaining a first-class client & customer experience between Landlords, Contractors and Centrick
  • Daily processing of the bank statement (rent receipts)
  • Ensuring productivity is maximised by effective time management
  • Issuing monthly rent invoices and provide rent apportionments towards the end of tenancy
  • Chasing rental arrears, monitor repayment plans, inform landlords about delayed payments
  • Understanding and complying with all company policies and procedures as well as industry legislation
  • Providing general day-to-day operational support to the Client Accounts team
  • Responding to phone and email queries (in the first instance) within the set time frames
  • Processing account adjustments (final rent calculation, credit notes, etc)
  • Refunding deposits, de-register the TDS certificates and file the completed check out packs
  • Providing requested rent receipts and statements
  • Submitting claims to the Rent & Legal Protection insurance provider
  • Dealing with utility and council tax bills received on behalf of clients
  • Assisting with onboarding new sites or off boarding sold sites
  • Providing general administrative assistance with client reports (such as collating copy invoices)

To be considered for the role you’ll need to demonstrate;

  • Fluent level of English with excellent spelling and grammar
  • Functional maths skills
  • Proficient IT user, able to use MS packages as well as a range of internal systems
  • Thrives in a fast paced, fluid environment
