PMP Recruitment are searching for enthusiastic, dedicated Warehouse Operatives to work at client’s sites across Kettering and Corby.

This programme is suitable for anyone that is looking for a role within Warehousing or Food Production.

Wincanton:

In this role, Warehouse Operatives are split into four different groups.

You could have LLOP or PPT Pickers (picking anything from a tin of paint to bags of cement).

The second group are Pickers who pick in pairs (mainly sofas). For this group, there are no driving skills required as they use pump trucks.

The third group are Pickers on conveyors (assembling orders of small items).

The fourth group are associates helping with loading and unloading containers.

All roles, apart from Conveyor Pickers, are involved in heavy lifting.

Reach truck drivers work in the replant department and Counterbalance drivers might be helping with unloading containers.

The shift hours are as follows:

6-2pm, 2pm-10pm and 10pm-6am.

The hourly wages are as follows:

Warehouse operative on both day shifts are being paid £9.69 ph (OT is time and a half and it is paid after completing basic 37.5hrs per week).

Warehouse operative on night shift receives £10.50ph. Stock controllers receive this same money.

Reach truck drivers and Counterbalance drivers get £10.50 ph on days and £11.50 ph on nights.

Taste Original:

As a Production Operative, you will be working on different lines supporting staff with keeping the lines running.

Your role will include packing boxes and dispatching while maintaining standards of health and safety, hygiene and security in the factory.

You will promote and encourage good manufacturing practice and food safety standards at all times.

The hourly wages and shifts are as follows:

DAY

Working hours:

06:00 – 18:00

Hourly wages:

C grade / starting grade  –  £9.01 –  OT after 40.25hrs  £11.27

B grade – after training  – £9.17 – OT after 40.25hrs £11.46

A grade – fully trained  – £9.89 – OT after 40.25hrs  £12.36

NIGHT 

Working hours:

18:00 – 06:00

21:00 – 06:00

Hourly wages:

C grade / starting grade  -£10.17-  OT after 40.25hrs £12.71

B grade – after training – £10.36 – OT after 40.25hrs £12.95

A grade – fully trained  – £11.26 – OT after 40.25hrs  £14.07

Ceva:

In this role, you will participate in general warehouse duties. The role may include manual handling and using manual handling equipment.

The hourly wages and shifts are as follows:

Warehouse Operatives:

AM working hours: 7am – 8pm

Basic Pay – £10.07

Overtime during the week – £12.42

Overtime Sunday & Bank Holiday – £15.08

MHE:

AM working hours: 7am – 8pm

Basic Pay – £10.41

Overtime during the week – £12.42

Overtime Sunday & Bank Holiday – £15.08

Warehouse Operatives:

PM: after 8pm

Basic pay – £12.52

Overtime during the week – £14.87

Overtime Sat – £14.87

MHE:

PM: after 8pm

Basic pay – £12.24

Overtime during the week – £14.16

Overtime Sat – £12.59

Overtime Sun – £16.69

Overtime Bank Holiday – £15.56

 

For all of these roles, public transport is available to the sites and they are also accessible by driving.

Qualification:

  • Level 1 Employability qualification
  • Level 1 Manual Handling
  • Level 2 Food Hygiene

Length of Study: 6 days

Teaching Method: Online remote learning

Who is it available to?
To complete this programme fully-funded you need to be:

  • Aged 19+ and not in employment or education OR
  • Unemployed or earning less than £17,374.50
  • Be a British or EU citizen and lived in the EU for more than 3 years
  • Be working to at least Level 1 in Literacy.
