There are two jobs available. As a housekeeping assistant you can expect to earn between £1,626 and £1,707 a month, working full time, five days a week. PGL provide and fund a variety of excellent training and qualifications opportunities, allowing you to develop your career and expand your possibilities with no charge. Your uniform is also provided for you, and we offer a 20% discount to all colleagues in our on-site stores.

As a Catering Assistant, you can expect to earn between £1,626 and £1,707 a month. You’ll work full time, five days a week, with a typical evening shift ending at 8pm. PGL provide and fund a variety of excellent training and qualifications opportunities that help you to develop your career. This includes the annual Chef Academy programme, which provides you with the qualifications, knowledge, and skills you need to advance towards Assistant Chef at PGL or progress into a role within other establishments.

In addition, we have optional accommodation and meals packages that allow you to benefit even more from your PGL experience. Our fabulous on-site accommodation will allow you to save whilst letting you make the most of frequent staff social events, including sports clubs, games groups and karaoke nights. With all bills and utilities covered, you’ll still earn up to £273 a week.

Sites are set in more rural locations there is the option to live on site.

Eligibility:

To be eligible learners should be:

  • Aged 19 before the 31st August 2021
  • Unemployed or claiming out of work benefits. Or employed and earning under £18,525 per year
  • A British or EU citizen and lived in the UK for more than three years

Be working to at least Level 1 in Literacy
