Due to the market picking up, Hay’s clients are looking for more Cleaners.

There are roles available as School Cleaner, Mobile School Cleaner and Mobile School Caretaker.


School Cleaner:

This role includes basic cleaning duties once all students have left, such as cleaning out bins, cleaning tables, hoovering, cleaning floor, toilets etc.

The working hours are between 3pm-6pm but could also be 3:30pm – 6:30pm dependent on the school.

The hourly rate is £9.50.


Mobile School Cleaner:

This role has touch-point cleaning involved mainly due to Covid, but also duties as mentioned above as well.

Candidates need to be flexible as hours might change depending on the school, but minimum of 3 hours a day with maximum of 5 hours per day.

The hourly rate is £9.50.


Mobile School Caretaker:

Duties for this role would include opening the school site, closing in evening, setting out chairs for assembly or the chairs and tables for lunch, moving desks around within the classrooms. May also involve basic cleaning duties, dependent on the schools need.

The hourly rate is £10.


All candidates must pass a DBS check with Child Barred List required.
