Work for the heartbeat of the Force as an all important Police Emergency Call Handler or Front Counter Enquiry Officer.

As a Police Emergency Call Handler you will be answering emergency and non emergency calls from the public and other agencies, ensuring that calls are dealt with appropriately and comply with policies and procedures.
You must be able to work a rotating shift pattern and unsociable hours over a 24/7, 365 day period, for which you will be paid a shift and weekend working allowance.
With a salary between £21,135 to £23,406 (pro rata if part time), plus an additional 34% shift and weekend working allowance per annum, this is a brilliant opportunity to work in an environment where every day is different.

To act as first point of contact for all visitors and callers to the Police both face to face and by telephone, providing a quality service and positive image for Nottinghamshire Police. You will also report incidents and manage all Front Counter Duties. You can expect a salary between £19,860 – £20,706 and an additional 10% shift and weekend working allowance on completion of training.
CT Skills will offer Mock Interviews and Testing during January with Notts Police Team prior to any testing helping you get your font in the door.

ELIGIBILITY

Aged 19 before the 31st August 2021.
Unemployed or claiming out of work benefits, or employed and earning under £17374.50 per year.
A British or EU citizen and lived in the EU for more than three years.
Working to at least Level 1 in Literacy.
