Fully funded by the UK Government, our pre-employment training courses are built with the purpose to ensure you gain a new skillset and qualification to begin or expand your career journey. The qualification you will receive can be up to Level 2, which is equivalent to a GCSE C grade.

We’re Key 2 Care, a provider of Extra Care services in Stoke-on-Trent. We provide a range of care and support services for our residents. We’re seeking to recruit some great care assistants; people with the right values and behaviours to work in our Extra care services – could this be you?

we offer the following shift patterns (depending on vacancies available):

Morning

  • 7am to 1.30pm, or 7am – 2.30pm, or 7.30am – 2.30pm or 7.30am – 3.pm, 7am – 11am, 10.00pm and alternate weekends.

Afternoon

  • 30pm – 10pm or 3pm – 10pm, 4pm – 10pm, alternate weekends.

The role is varied so no two days are the same. Our residents are individuals and they all deserve to be treated as such. However, as a general guide, duties may include support with daily personal care needs including medication, as well as help to take part in a wide range of special interests and activities that support their health and well being such as arts and crafts, musical evenings and social occasions.

The demand for our home care services throughout Stoke-on-Trent is increasing and as such we need both new and experienced Home Care Professionals to join us so we can continue to deliver high quality personal care services to the local community.

 

Our clients, who often require support with personal care from our team of Home Care Professionals, live in their own homes so your own transport is preferred but may not be essential

As a Home Care Professional with Key 2 Care you can enjoy:

Fortnightly Pay

Double pay on Public Holidays

£9.50 per hour plus an additional 53p per visit (13p for walkers)

Up to 28 days Holiday a year.

Work based pension.

Our Home Care Professional shift patterns are:

7am – 3pm, 3pm – 10:30pm

Alternate weekends

Flexibility allowed to meet personal or family needs and circumstances.

Full or Part time hours available

Qualification: Level 1 Heath & Social Care

Length of Study: 15

Teaching Method: Online Learning
