Fully funded by the UK Government, our pre-employment training courses are built with the purpose to ensure you gain a new skillset and qualification to begin or expand your career journey. The qualification you will receive can be up to Level 2, which is equivalent to a GCSE C grade.

Hours: 21 hours over 3 nights

Starting hourly rate: £9.51

At Premier Inn, every guest wants a great night’s sleep– As a Night team member with us, you’ll need to handle all our hotel operations throughout the night to ensure our guests have everything they need. Our night teams are nothing if not flexible, ensuring that our guests’ safety is always at the forefront of everything they do.

We have an award-winning apprenticeship programme too, so could offer you the opportunity to earn qualifications alongside completing your core training for the role.

Skills and Experience

You don’t need previous experience to join us in this role, our structured induction and ongoing training will support you to do the role. It’s all about what you can bring as a person. To be successful in this role you’ll need to:

  • Be comfortable working with others and independently.
  • Have a passion for delivering an outstanding experience to our guest, no matter what time of the night.
  • Be a stickler for Health and Safety as well as policies and procedures.
  • Have good organisational skills, but yet flexible to meet needs of the guest and business.
  • Enjoy problem solving and keeping calm in a crisis.

What is a Night Team Member?

  • Working in pairs or trios you’ll ensure safety in our hotels throughout the night.
  • Be approachable through the night to guests to ensure guest can feel that they can come and ask a question to our teams 24/7.
  • Complete corridor checks, noise patrols and making sure our guests are in an environment where they can sleep soundly.

Please note that working hours are 11pm – 7am and therefore if you are thinking about applying, you must be aged 18 or over due to working time regulations.

Housekeeping Team Member – Premier Inn Leeds/Bradford Airport Premier Inn, 76 Bedrooms.

16 hours over 4 days, will include weekends and bank holidays.

Starting hourly rate: £8.91

  • Have great communications skills and be confident engaging with our guest and team.
  • Be committed to working in a physically challenging, deadline driven environment.
  • Have a keen eye for detail and be highly organised.
  • A passion for delivering an amazing experience to our guests.

What is a Housekeeping Team Member?

  • Independently in rooms and a team, you’ll be working to tight deadlines keeping our rooms spotless and our public areas are clean and tidy, all to our high brand standards.
  • Control linen and work safely with required chemicals.
  • Engage with guests and team to ensure that all our guests feel comfortable and relaxed while they stay with us.

Housekeeping Team Member – Premier Inn Leeds City Centre (Wellington Street), 136 Bedrooms.

16 hours per week over 4 days (will include weekends/bank holidays)

Starting hourly rate: £8.91

Ground Floor Team Member – Premier Inn – Leeds

Hours: 24 hours and 3/4 DAYS over a 7 day period

Starting hourly rate: £8.91

At Premier Inn you’ll really help lead the way, setting us aside from our competitors– Your welcoming smile, hands on approach and cross training really sets the standards of our hotels, allowing us to offer and deliver an exceptional experience for our guests. Our guests will see you in reception, they’ll also see you in the restaurant and bar and overall, you’ll be on hand making sure every service our guests use outside of their rooms is turned into a great experience.

Skills and experience

Experience for the role would be an advantage, but isn’t essential, with our structured induction and ongoing training plan to support you in your role, it’s about what you can bring as a person. You’ll need to:

  • Be comfortable working as part of a team, in a fast-paced environment (if it’s from within food and beverage that’s an added bonus!).
  • Have a passion and natural flair for delivering an outstanding level of customer service and dealing with a wide variety of people.
  • Have good computer skills.

Teaching Method: Online Learning
