We’re Key 2 Care, also trading as Derbyshire Care Services, a preferred provider of care in Derby.
We provide a range of care and support services for our residents at our 3 Extra Care Schemes in Derby. We’re seeking to recruit some great care assistants; people with the right values and behaviours – could this be you? We’re looking for carers who can work variable hours, 6.45am – 15.00pm and 2.45pm – 10.00pm shifts and be available to work alternate weekends.
We would prefer you to have previous experience in this field, but you don’t need any qualifications – we’re happy to work with you to help you become an excellent care worker. Above all, we want someone that shares our values.

The role is varied so no two days are the same. Our residents are individuals and they all deserve to be treated as such. However, as a general guide, duties may include support with daily personal care needs including medication, as well as help to take part in a wide range of special interests and activities that support their health and well being such as arts and crafts, musical evenings and social occasions.
You will be one of the driving forces behind promoting resident’s integration and empowering them to lead fulfilling lives.

Until now, they’ve relied on each other for help and support, but this is no longer possible. They wish to stay together at home, and Derbyshire Care Services support them to do so, by helping with their morning routine (including personal care), ensuring their home is clean and tidy, and supporting with social activities.
Could you help Geoff and Maureen to stay happy at home together?
No experience is necessary as we give full training and support.
Our Care Professionals come from all walks of life, with lots of different skills and backgrounds. What they have in common is a passion for making a difference to the lives of our customers, who live in their own homes across the Derby area. A full driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle is essential for this role, in order for you to be able to visit a number of people during your day.

As a Home Care Assistant with Key 2 Care/Derbyshire Care Services you can enjoy:
- Minimum £9 per hour plus 53p per customer visit
- Fortnightly Pay

Our shift patterns are:
- 7am – 3pm, 3pm – 10:30pm
