The role: The Nottinghamshire Police are recruiting for Police Front Counter Staff.
The role includes being the first point of contact for the public visiting the police station. The role further includes dealing with callers enquiries, passing information to the appropriate person or department, dealing with missing persons, lost property and stolen vehicles, dealing with and recording cash transactions, recording crime details and reports, communication, using telephone, fax and radio systems, maintaining security of police premises, looking after victims and witnesses, providing first aid in emergencies and assisting police officers by carrying out administrative tasks.
The working week consists of 37 hours in a shift system. The shifts will rotate between the hours of 8am and midnight, including weekends and public holidays. There are often opportunities to work part time.
