During your short time with CT Skills you will develop a broad skill-set that will enable you to secure an industry qualification as well as insight and knowledge in to partnered vacancy and employer requirements.

The role: Northamptonshire Police are recruiting Police Community Support Officers to join their team. The role includes working within communities to provide a Neighbour Policing presence, undertaking highly visible uniformed patrols and engaging with local communities.

General duties will include using problem solving skills to provide a coordinated approach to community issues, responding to suitable incidents, act as a witness and submit witness statements as appropriate. Further duties include attending crime scenes as requested, completing enquiries in relation to ASB incidents and much more.

Candidates must have excellent communication skills, be willing to work weekends and perform duties outdoors in all seasons, be able to multi task, be able to work in a team and be able to pass a fitness test and be medically capable of performing the role. The annual wage is £20,610 + 24% shift allowance. There are 23 annual days holiday. Weekly shift hours are 37 hours.
