The role: Derby County Football Club currently have a number of vacancies for Safety Stewards to support our matchday operations.The role of the Matchday Safety Steward is a key role at Pride Park Stadium, ensuring the safety of supporters on matchdays and providing excellent levels of customer service.
This role will involve directing members of the public as they enter and leave the stadium, patrolling sections of the stadium and dealing with any problems that may arise. Excellent communication and customer service skills are required for this role together with a positive and courteous manner.
Applicants are required to be over 18 years of age. The hourly wage is £8.21 rising to £9.19 per hour on successful completion of the NVQ Level 2 in Spectator Safety and Crowd Control qualification, which is a compulsory requirement of this post. This is a transferable qualification which allows you to work at Concerts, Festivals etc.
