The Job Role:
Inspire to Care are searching for Care Professionals to provide Home Care.
Professionals in these services help residents with everyday tasks such as washing, taking medication, using the toilet and getting dressed. Care professionals also support residents to take part in hobbies and social activities, such as group baking sessions and listening to their favourite music.
A home care professional’s day is usually organised by a timetable of appointments (often called ‘visits’ or ‘calls’). Care workers travel between visits using their own car, walking, or travelling with a colleague. Many work alone, although some may work with a colleague (sometimes called ‘double ups’) or, in rarer cases, more than one colleague if the individual has very complex needs.
