Air ambulance service lands national award

The local Air ambulance service is flying high after winning a national award for a recruitment drive which secured jobs for unemployed people in Leicestershire. The Derbyshire, Leicestershire & Rutland Air Ambulance (DLRAA) triumphed at the national Charity Retail Awards, at Keele University. The service won the Community Impact Award for its partnership with CT Skills and the Job Centre.

City centre office move for CT Skills

CT Skills, an apprenticeship, recruitment and training organisation, has expanded its Nottingham operation by moving in to new city centre offices. The company, which has its head offices in Nottingham, moved from Clinton House in Derby Road, to Alan House on the corner of Clumber Street and Long Row on June 14.

Nottingham Post Carer of the Year: Hucknall’s Chelsea latest to be nominated

When 20-year-old Chelsea Toulson saw the type of care her diabetic grandfather received at home from community nurses, she was inspired to help others. Now, only four months after starting her job as a nutritional support assistant she has been nominated for a Nottingham Post Carer of the Year awards. Chelsea, who works at the Hazelgrove Care Home in Farleys Lane, Hucknall, has been nominated in the New Professional Carer category sponsored by CT Skills.
