Accountancy Apprenticeship Level 3
As a Level 3 Accounts Apprentice you will play a pivotal role in the companies finance department. Honing the skills you need to progress as a financial professional such as financial reporting, professional ethics and final accounts. As an apprentice you will be paid whilst working in full time employment and completing your qualification.
Whilst performing the day to day duties of your role you will study and sit exams for the following qualifications:
- Level 3 Diploma in Accounting
Our AAT apprentices have a dedicated tutor and will have face to face, online, email and telephone contact for the entire duration of the apprenticeship. An assessor will come to your workplace for tuition and you will sit your exams in one of our education centres.
What will I learn?
A level 3 apprenticeship in AAT Accountancy covers a wide range of sector specific skills, and these are tailored to your job role, so you can put into practise what you’re learning. You could cover units in: Principles of accounts preparation, preparing final accounts for sole traders and partnerships, understanding costs and revenues and understanding indirect tax.
Who is an apprenticeship suitable for?
Apprenticeships can be undertaken by anyone, although for AAT Accountancy we normally ask for a minimum of grade C at GCSE Maths & English. Full government funding is available for 16-18 year olds. Those aged 19 or over may still qualify for partial government funding with an employer contribution.
