Accountancy Apprenticeship Level 2
As a Level 2 AAT Accountancy Apprentice you will begin to learn the basics of accountancy and finance, including book keeping and computerised accountancy, as well as developing your personal
thinking and learning skills. As an apprentice you will be paid whilst working in full time employment and completing your qualification.
Whilst performing the day to day duties of your role you will study and sit exams for the following qualifications:
- Level 2 Certificate in Accounting.
Our AAT apprentices have a dedicated tutor and will have face to face, online, email and telephone contact for the entire duration of the apprenticeship.An assessor will come to your workplace for tuition and you will sit your exams in one of our education centres.
What will I learn?
A Level 2 Apprenticeship in AAT Accountancy covers a wide range of skills and these are tailored to your job role, so you can put into practise what you’re learning. You could cover units in: Processing bookeeping transactions, control of accounts, journals and the banking system, basic costing, computerised accounting.
Who is an apprenticeship suitable for?
Apprenticeships can be undertaken by anyone, although for AAT Accountancy we normally ask for a minimum of grade C at GCSE Maths & English. Full government funding is available for 16-18 year olds. Those aged 19 or over may still qualify for partial government funding with an employer contribution.
