Education & Training Apprenticeship Level 3
As a Level 3 Education and Training Apprentice, you will continue your journey in your sector, whilst taking on more responsibility and learning new in depth skills and enhancing existing skills. As an apprentice you will be paid whilst working in full time employment and completing your qualification.
Whilst performing the day to day duties of your role you will study and sit exams for the following qualifications:
- Level 3 (NVQ) Diploma in Specialist Support for Teaching & Learning In Schools
- Level 2 Functional Skills in ICT
- Level 2 Functional Skills in Maths & English (if required)
An assessor will come to your workplace for tuition and you will sit your exams in your workplace where possible.
What will I learn?
A level 3 apprenticeship in Education and Training covers a wide range of skills in more depth than a level 2 qualification, and these are tailored to your job role, so you can put into practise what you’re learning. You could cover units in: Promoting children & young peoples positive behaviour, supporting childrens and young peoples health & safety, understand how to safeguard the wellbeing of children and young people.
Who is an apprenticeship suitable for?
Apprenticeships can be undertaken by anyone, no formal qualifications are usually required. Full government funding is available for 16-18 year olds. Those aged 19 or over may still qualify for partial government funding with an employer contribution.
