CT Skills are pleased to welcome Charlie Goodings to the CT Skills family as he joins the business as Apprenticeship Recruitment Manager.
After building a career through a variety of roles including a Recruitment & Sales Manager, Charlie is excited to join the apprenticeship team and to support businesses across the Midlands in recruiting the latest talent.
Single mother, Rebecca Dunne first came to CT Skills after being referred by her local job centre for a Functional Skills Maths course in order to strengthen her employability prospects. After having her two children, Rebecca suffered with low self-esteem and anxiety so always felt that she didn’t have the confidence or qualifications behind her to secure a job.
Unemployment in Leicester has now reached an all time high as 28,900 adults’ were declared out of work in 2018. Amongst those residents struggling to secure employment were Jade Ashton, 26, and Benji Tuitt, 27, who had both been unemployed for over a year.
CT Skills work with a variety of local, leading employers from across the Midlands and last year alone listed an average of 30 apprenticeship vacancies at any one time in a variety of sectors.
