Securing employment for Christmas with CT Skills

The festive period can be described as many things. Exciting, jolly, cold…and expensive. The prospect of budgeting for the amount of gifts and everything else in relation to Christmas can be daunting, especially if you happen to be unemployed.

A survey carried out by YouGov fund discovered that 80% of survey takers worried they wouldn’t be able to financially support themselves, their family or Christmas if they didn’t have a job.

66% of unemployed survey takers stated they would benefit from one to one support and guidance to help them find a job.

With Christmas looming, unemployed people tend to feel pressure to secure employment in the last 3 months of the year.

Realising you relate to all the above? CT Skills has the solution for you.

What we offer-

CT Skills are working with employers to offer a number of both temporary and permanent roles running through Christmas, with selection days happening until December. Roles across the East Midlands such as Support Worker to Sales Cashier and Labourer are advertised on our Events page. All the courses on our Events page come with fully funded training and guaranteed interviews with the employer.

CT Skills also offer short courses for qualifications from entry level 3 to level 5 such as Functional Skills Maths or English, Construction with a CSCS card and test (Construction courses with free PPE kit also available), Business Administration, Warehousing and much more. If you apply now, all short courses are able to be completed in time for Christmas!

Geoffrey’s story-

Geoffrey Cook, 60, had previously lost his job and was made homeless. After finding CT Skills, he completed a training course with us and secured employment with RGIS. When talking about his experience with CT Skills, Geoffrey enthused, “When I first came to CT Skills, I felt suicidal and low like I had no where to turn. But once I started the course, it all changed for me. Everyone at CT Skills made me feel like me again!”

Geoffrey’s narrative is just one of CT Skill’s many success stories with turning people’s employment lives around for the better.
