‘Sheep thrills’ as CT Skills learners put theory into practise on the farm

CT Skills once again proved we don’t do normal classroom teaching by taking a group of health and social care learners on a trip to a farm. 

The learners – studying on one of our Sector Based Work Academy programmes – were tasked with planning a day trip for potential service users once working in the sector.

They had to apply what they had learned about planning, budgeting and risk assessment in the classroom to a real-life situation. 

The learners assessed a number of options before choosing Stonebridge City Farm, Nottingham.
