CT Skills’ cake sales raise £650 for cancer charity

Friday, September 29 2017

Staff at CT Skills have pulled together and raised a massive £650 for Macmillan Cancer Support.

A total of £322 was raised from a series of cake sales at Alan House and Priory Court on September 5th – including a raffle for a delicious chocolate pizza which alone brought in over £50.

The company have decided to match that figure and round it up, taking the total to £650 and smashing the original £500 target.

The fundraising activity was part of Macmillan’s ‘World’s Biggest Coffee Morning’ campaign which takes place on September 29th.

CT Skills ran the event early in order to optimise the fundraising potential – which has worked to great effect as it coincided with a company-wide sales and operations meeting at Alan House.

The money will be donated to the Nightingale Macmillan Unit at the Royal Derby Hospital where we currently have a member of staff fighting her own battle.

The company would like to thank everybody who took part for showing great enthusiasm and spirit in supporting our continued charity fundraising efforts.
