CT Skills launches Careers Hotline ahead of A Level and GCSE results

Monday, August 14 2017

CT Skills is providing impartial careers information, advice and guidance to thousands of teenagers across the Midlands with the launch of their ‘Careers Hotline’.

The hotline has been set up ahead of students receiving their A Level and GCSE results in the next fortnight.

Our aim is to offer as much information and clarity as possible so we can set people on the path to being who they want to be.

The phone line was made live on Monday morning with a team of experienced, knowledgeable and enthusiastic people on hand to take questions and offer support.

Students can call us if they would like to talk to someone about their options and what career moves are available to them.

We will also be able to help if their results didn’t go as expected – which can often be the case for young adults.

There are no added charges when you call the hotline but standard network rates will apply.

We are determined to provide bright and prosperous career opportunities to anyone – no matter how well they did in their exams.

We believe offering advice and opportunities such as this will reduce the number of students ending up NEET (Not in Education, Employment or Training) across the Midlands.

In addition to the launch of the hotline, we’ve produced a series of articles and a dedicated page for Post-16 Options on our website.

You need to know about a major change to the way GCSEs are graded

This is what you can expect on Results Day …

‘So, I’ve just received my exam results. What’s next?’

The number to call for our Careers Hotline is: 0115 951 7261
