CT Skills launches Summer Job Shop to get school leavers into work

Wednesday, June 28 2017

CT Skills is excited to announce the launch of our Summer Job Shop for young people who are looking to improve themselves and forge careers.

The programme will deliver fun-filled and invaluable sessions and activities to 16-24 year olds, as well as providing them with opportunities to meet employers and be matched with job vacancies.

Whether they’ve just left school and not sure what to do next, they’re unemployed and looking for work, or they just want to improve their skills and employability – everyone’s invited along!

The Summer Job Shop will run day trips and enrichment activities as well as sessions on creating a professional CV and preparing for interviews.

On completion of the course, CT Skills will then support Summer Job Shop graduates with apprenticeships, Further Education, employment, or traineeships.

Included in the Summer Job Shop is a £20 bursary for each week for the duration of the programme*, free breakfast each day, travel cost support*, and a graduation ceremony.

We are hosting an OPEN DAY in both Nottingham and Derby on Friday 7 July from 10am – the addresses can be found below.
