Accountancy Apprenticeship Level 4

The Level 4 AAT Apprenticeship is for the senior finance professionals and will provide you with the skills you need to become a financial team leader or set up your own practice. As an apprentice you will be paid whilst working in full time employment and completing your qualification.

 

What’s included?
Whilst performing the day to day duties of your role you will study and sit exams for the following qualifications:

  • Level 4 Diploma in Accounting;

Our AAT apprentices have a dedicated tutor and will have face to face, online, email and telephone contact for the entire duration of the apprenticeship. An assessor will come to your workplace for tuition and you will sit your exams in one of our education centres.

 

What will I learn?
A Level 4 Apprenticeship in AAT Accountancy covers a wide range of skills and these are tailored to your job role, so you can put into practise what you’re learning. Examples of units that could be covered are: Drafting and interpreting limited company financial statements, preparing forecasts of income and expenditure, preparing draft budgets and revising them as required by the business, managing budgets and reporting variances back to the business, reviewing the finance function to identify risk and make recommendation for improvements.

 

Who is an apprenticeship suitable for?
Apprenticeships can be undertaken by anyone, although for AAT Accountancy we normally ask for a minimum of grade C at GCSE Maths & English. Full government funding is available for 16-18 year olds. Those aged 19 or over may still qualify for partial government funding with an employer contribution.
